The Process

  1. We learn about your organization. We interview you to analyze what you need your website to do for your customers. It also helps us learn about your style, your services, and any functions you want the website to offer.

  2. We give you some homework. Before we begin, we may assign you some homework, such as rounding up files, writing down ideas for services or products, or finding copies of print materials we may need to reference, etc. Once all the homework has been turned over to Marketing Maven, we can keep working down the list.

  3. We develop a site map. Before delving into the design of the website, we first prepare a site map to work off of. A site map is like an outline, showing how the website will be organized and what bells and whistles will be in what sections. This helps us avoid delays later in the project.

  4. We build the first draft. Taking all your color, font, and design preferences into account, we get to work building the first draft of your new responsive website. This is the step where most of the time is put in. This includes editing or creating graphics as needed, sourcing the appropriate images, writing content, organizing information as concisely as possible, and formatting the site so that it is user-friendly.

  5. We send it to YOU for review. Our designers will send you a preview link so that you can experience the new website from a desktop computer and take notes on what you like and what you want to change.

  6. We make changes to get it just right. You will have up to 3 rounds of edits to the new website. On the first round, we ask you to look at the way things are organized, the theme of fonts and colors, and the overall flow of the website. On the second round, this is your chance to swap out an image, add missing text, or make basic changes to the design. In the final round, this is really just a final check of the spelling, content, and polishing details before the new site goes live.

  7. We create the mobile version and maximize SEO. Before we launch, we go through the website page by page and image by image to maximize your website’s searchability and performance on all devices and browsers.

  8. We send it to YOU for a second review. After the desktop version has been edited and the mobile version built out to match and function well on phones and tablet devices, we’ll send you another link to review the site again with a fine-toothed comb. This is the most important part of the process, as you’re now auditing the content AND the function of the site to make sure it works the way you want it to.

  9. Help you freshen up your Google Business listing. A complimentary part of every website project is providing you with helpful instructions for freshening up your Google My Business listing to maximize its searchability and accessibility for people searching for medical providers online.

  10. Launch the new website. Using a domain name you already own, or a new domain we can purchase for you, we set up your annual hosting plan and point your website address to the new site once it is completed. Annual hosting fees from Wix.com are not included in quoted price. You should budget up to $350 per year for annual hosting and domain registration fees, depending on the functionality of your website.

  11. Maintenance Phase. Once the website is complete, we will discuss who you prefer to maintain the site in the future. If you plan to have Marketing Maven do that for you, we will discuss how that works and how to collaborate with us when you need edits made for an hourly rate (no contract required). Or, if you or your staff want to learn how to make edits to the website, we can schedule an add-on training session (virtual, recorded) for $100.

Our Pricing

Depending on the complexity of your project and how much you need your website to do, we can help you select among the following options. We build websites on Wix so that clients can hypothetically learn to make edits themselves if they would like to. No special software needed, and you’ll have ultimate flexibility to edit and expand as you grow!

 

A standard Wix website is "responsive" on two screen sizes: desktop and mobile. For a more advanced, fully responsive website, ask us about building on Wix Studio, a new platform for building more complex sites tailored for every device. Prices below are for standard sites built with the classic Wix editor.

Depending on your project, we can talk about potential add-ons you might need to best serve your customers and your team. We can add just about anything you might need, from custom email addresses to secure job applications. During your interview, we will go over all of the stakeholders who may use your website and what you want the website to do to compel potential customers and streamline internal operations as much as possible.

Job Application or Other Types of Secure Forms - $450 for Initial Development.
         Monthly or annual subscription fees from Formsite.com not included.​

Store / eCommerce Features - $2,000 for Store Development.
       Up to 15 products in an interactive store with automated email notifications. Photography not included.

Photography Services - $400 per Shoot.

         Google Workspace subscription is additional at the cost of $80 per year per user.
